First Post

To start out, I have had this philosophy ever since I had AP World History, basically wondering what a certain type of game would a certain Religion or Civilization. For example, a Hindu Game would have stress on duty and have many Gods. This theory then worked itself into a PowerPoint. It was later when I realized, Why keep this constrained to History? So now it has morphed into this theory saying that a video game can teach a certain idea better than studying a book or receiving a lecture.

So what’s keeping me from doing this?

Obviously, useful ideas can be directed towards the teenage high school video gaming audience (where grades matter the most and the majority of the games are played). Also, as George Santayana said, with (some paraphrasing included) “Those who don't learn…are doomed...” If you don’t study for a test, you are doomed to get an F. If you don’t study the enemy, you will be doomed in battle. If you don’t study your environment, you will be doomed to die, whether by thirst, hunger or death by animals. The Point? If we don’t study other subjects, our creations are doomed to fail. So I’m also using this blog to show how other ideas can be reincarnated into video games
